The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is a perfect fantasy world both in terms of gameplay, character image and story. Since TOTK aired, news about other games has almost disappeared because everyone must be busy discussing this game.

In case you've never touched a Zelda part before, the following list of 12 interesting tips will surely make it easier for you to explore the vast world of Hyrule with both sky, ground and dungeon parts.
#1: PAY ATTENTION TO THE MAIN POINTS YOU NEED
The world of TOTK will have a lot of things for you to explore, admire and enjoy. Sometimes getting caught up in details can make us forget our important goals, even lose track of where we need to go.
If you're not sure if the main objective can be maintained, press the button, open the Adventure Log. This is where you will always find the destination you need. It will be displayed on the map with the icon ◎.
However, do not be afraid to make a few detours as you go. This world is made with a lot of surprises, sometimes they wait for you on the trails.
#2: PAY ATTENTION TO THE TERRAIN
When starting to explore a new area, drill quickly. Take a moment to observe to find the best vantage point from above. This point will give you a comprehensive look around, seeing everything clearly including enemies, chests, items, useful items and even some terrain that can give you an advantage in the upcoming battle. .
Remember to use the Right Stick to get a closer look at the points of interest.
#3: PAY ATTENTION TO THE WAY OF THINKING, TRY TO THINK OF THINGS DIFFERENTLY
Link's adventures are important for testing. You can solve the same problem in many different ways. For example, to cross a gap, one chooses to try to jump over, another tries to build a bridge with Ultrahand.
So, when exploring Hyrule, if there's something that stumps you, try the traditional way and then try a variety of approaches to see what happens.
#4: PAY ATTENTION TO SPEND ENOUGH TIME GETTING USED TO THE CONTROLS
If you haven't played Breath of the Wild or played any Zelda action adventure before, take enough time to fully grasp and master the game's controls. Note that some of the controls are a bit different from BOTW, so even when you've played through it, you need to review a bit, and update some new controls.
#5: MIND YOUR CONVERSATIONS
All the characters you meet in Hyrule are of course not hostile. The trick is to not skip every conversation quickly. But be a little patient, stay and talk to the characters who treat you peacefully.
Maybe those dialogue patterns might help you find friendly Constructs on Great Sky or contain some helpful advice about the area you're traveling in.
In case you miss a conversation you think is useful, press the Y button to review the chat log, only applicable when the conversation has not ended completely.
#6: PAY ATTENTION TO COLLECT AS MANY ITEMS AS POSSIBLE
Whenever you see something lying around, just pick it up and put it in your inventory first. Because you never know when you will need it. The principle is always “Better to have a surplus than a lack”.
For example, there are things that are too easy to get, like mushrooms growing on the roots of trees or some fruits on branches. They are all useful for your health later, or use when cooking.
Or you can hunt live animals like fish swimming in a lake or some kind of wild animal. Those who like to destroy, can conveniently break the surrounding vases, in which there may be unexpected items.
#7: MAKE COOKING FUN
Link is not afraid to eat raw foods like fruits, mushrooms and so on, and still find it delicious as usual. However, if you prefer a more special meal, try lighting a fire, put the pot on, put in some ingredients. A delicious dish must be waiting for you. Not to mention they are also beneficial for your health to continue your adventure journey.
Like the Energy Steamed Mushrooms made from Stamella Shroom + Stambulb will help you restore physical strength and heart health. Or the spicy stir-fried chili can help you cope with the cold better and recover the damaged soul.
When you finish cooking a dish, the recipe you just used is immediately added to the Recipe Book. Whenever you need to re-cook a favorite dish, you can take out the book to see and find the right ingredients.
#8: WATCH OUT FOR WAYS TO INCREASE WEAPON DURABILITY
Weapons in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you can increase damage stats or equip with unique effects. In addition, more importantly, we are also allowed to MIX materials with our weapons to help weapons increase durability significantly.
Of course not all materials are fused and not all merges are valid. But pay attention to the items like rocks, boulders, parts dropped from monsters such as horns, fangs... These are all items that can be combined to increase the durability of the weapon, the effect is impressive.
Note that when you want to restore the original state of the weapon, you can open your Inventory, select the item Destroy fused material. But after doing this, the previous material you used in combination with the weapon will completely disappear.
#9: TAKE ADVANTAGE OF ULTRAHAND
The Ultrahand ability will allow you to pick up an object, rotate it, and then attach it to another object, like a power arm. With this function, you can create tools, items and weapons with complex mechanics, increasing their usefulness. It sounds appealing, but to master Ultrahand control, you will need a fair amount of practice time.
Plus, when you move an item, you'll find a place to stick the two together (it's like an intersection with green glue). Pay attention to these intersections, they will help you work faster and more efficiently. If the item is stuck around forever and can't be attached correctly, just mark a specific part of the object and gently shake the Right Stick to remove it.
As for some Zonai devices, they will activate when you hit them with a weapon. Always be careful to hit the right device and not the rest of the system if you don't want to mess things up.
#10: FOR AN EXTRA BATTLE ADVANTAGE, USE ASCEND
Link's new Ascend - Ascend ability will help you move easily through some high ceilings, exploring caves is also smoother. Even when you are surrounded by enemies while in a cave, Ascend can help you escape quickly.
Ascend can also help you in many battles, when you need to appear in a higher position, or sneak behind Bokoblin who are controlling the watchtower.
#11: TO THINK MORE CLEARLY, USE THE RECALL ABILITY
You'll be messing around a bit on your own for an extra advantage in combat. Recall is such a possibility. You can use Recall to "rewind" the movement of something, to "return" to the enemy the bullet they just launched. Or Recall also works to help you reposition a vehicle. In general, this is the ability to "rewind" like you are rewinding a movie.
#12: TO STAY ACTIVE EVEN WITHOUT A WEAPON, TRY TOSSING WHATEVER ITEM YOU HAVE
When you don't have any weapons in hand, don't worry because Link can grab and throw any item picked up on the road.
Try throwing a piece of meat at the Bokoblin to distract them, throw a white Chuchu jelly to freeze the enemy. Many things will have a great effect unexpectedly.
And in case you're not sure how the item you're holding in your hand can help, reopen your inventory, read the ingredient description, and learn some more effective ways to use it.
Well, now you're ready to enter the world of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
